Malaysian Squash Queen!
“Nicol wants to win. She is challenged, driven by succeeding and has a purpose,” said Irving on Saturday.
“I think it’s just her destiny. Really I do. You see it when she is on the court. Sometimes it’s like the opponent is irrelevant,” said Irving.
“She is just doing what she is there to do and gets to the task. She is a very intelligent girl and sportsperson. She is very in tune with what she has to do.
“She is not complete yet, not at all. That’s even better, that’s very exciting. She has years to grow. She is young. Women in squash reach their peak around 27 to 32 years. She is going to be a far better player than she is now in a few years.”
Irving, who has been working with the 23-year-old Nicol for the last four years, also reminded that Nicol is only human.
