SHOULD a husband feed his wife or the other way round?
The question during the winding-up debate by Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil sent the House into stitches.
Earlier, Ismail Noh (PAS – Pasir Mas) said home-cooked food would taste better if a wife fed her husband. He said women should therefore be allowed shorter working hours so she could go home earlier to cook for her husband and family.
Datuk Mohd Alwi Che Ahmad (BN – Ketereh) then asked if it would be better for women to work full time so she could buy food from outside to feed their husband or should women stay at home to cook but let their husbands feed themselves.
Shahrizat however said both should feed each other as it would not be fair for the wife if she had to feed her husband all the time.
Just when I thought there’s gonna be a lack of interesting posts today, here comes some high quality discussion in the parliament.
I still think makan suap’s the best way to feed yourself…lol
