Loading ...Floods in Johor!!!

As I am writing this, my parents doublestorey rented house in Segamat, which we just visited last weekend, is filled with flood water up to the middle of the ground floor. The uncanny thing is my mom came up to KL to take care of Zoe as a cover for my mom-in-law who is going on a holiday to (of-all places) ‘landslide -prone’ Camerons today.
Anyway, the result is my father is left alone in Segamat. I got a call from him last night around 8pm - when he told us that the rain has not stopped since we left on Sunday and the flood now reached the front gates. We told him to park his car somewhere higher and to move all electrical items - such as TV, video, astro - the lot all up to the first floor.
We kept in touch every half an hour or so, and i was thinking that the rain should stop. No, it didnt and as it turned out no one would have predicted that this would be the worst flood in 100 years in Johor.
